For my last blog it's the question of what we thought about this whole blogging thing and in my eyes it was good learning something new but i guess i really didnt see the point of it and it was kind of time managing. It was alright though just takes time to do it.

Marriage Experts

For this blog i chose to do the marriage expert blog on my neighbor who have been married for about 40 years which is such a long time these days because of how many people are divorcing. Every couple is going to argue about something at some point but learning to work through it is the key to stay close to each other. They told me that holding things in makes it worse than saying something and facing the problems or issues that are bothering you. they say their challenges throughout their marriage has been dealing with all the hard times that have come weather it was financial issuses or disagreements. What has helped them is sticking together when things are bad and sharing everything with each other and doing your best to stay together beacuse things can get better.

Stress Reduction

For this blog i chose to do it on yogo and how it releases stress. It consists of  stationary poses, combined with deep breathing. Its really good for anxiety and stress but also increases your flexability, strength, balance, and stamina. Physically afterwards i felt more movable and stretched out. Any stress that was on my mind was gone and i felt at ease. A great method that i would do again and encourage people to try it.

Elders

For this blog i spoke with my grandma who actually 80 this past year. Listening to her talk about her past and the life she lived back then has such a big difference on how she is living  today. She was born in Inbdonesia but lived in the Netherland. The way she explained how much affect the war had on peoples lives back then and the shortage of money and things everyone delt with. She used to have only a few dresses that she had and not much else which is pretty said and i couldnt picture being in a situation like that. Even the difference in living in a different country is one thing but back during the war with what was going on with the Nazi. Which she had to leave her home and grab all her things that she could. Being a little girl in that position is terrible i would be scared if that happened to me now. Little things people had back then were used wisley and thats what i though was the most interesting things about how time changed. For who my grandma is I respect everything she did and has done. She is really getting with the times as well such as going on facebook, emails, texting, and other things like going to the gym. The older generation can really have some interesting stories to tell.

Love Language

The love language was pretty interesting and kiding of wierd some of the questions. I think i scored highes on what i expected. The questions asking you if feel love when people touch you seemed to come up alot which i thought was pretty funny. My love language was highest in quality time which was 8 not to bad i can see it. So it was accurite with the others my lowest was getting gifts which could have been a little higher but i think i might not have been as truthful on that. Overall cool blog topic.

When it comes to kids doing drugs i feel it's one of the number one worries about their kid. Drugs can really change a life. not just the user but people around them such as friends, family, and other loved ones. If i had kids i couldnt believe the problems that would cause. For the parents that do deal with this problem i really feel bad for them. So doing certain thing to maybe prevent something like this from happening or possibley helping their kids get clean or stay clean. I know its noy always that simply but at lease trying and showing you care really can make the difference. I know in school they do the drug awareness anouncements which shows kids the affects of drugs and the overall results of taking them. Which what i saw and heard doesnt seem worth it at all. Hope kids make the right choice in the end.

Food Inc.

After watching the Food Inc. video it really gets your attention to whats going on in the food industries, factories, and farm. A lot of it was disturbing and hard to believe in some of the parts. One of the most eye openning parts would have to be the diseases in some of the foods and the causes it could have on peoples health. Thinking back on it really makes me think twice about the food im choosing or eating from the super market. Good video to see to inform people on these matters.

Keeping Kids Clean

Hey everyone my names Dillon Price im 18 years old just graduated from Rancho buena Vista. Im from Vista, CA never lived anywhere else. I really love being in southern California and going to the beach. I like pretty much all sports and being fit and healthy. Going to the beach with friends to bodyboarding, relax, and have fun is probley the best to me.
